New Clip Tammy: I Do like Apples

We’re quite looking forward to Tammy, Melissa McCarthy is going balls out and here she is having a bagged conversation with Sarah Barker, who was great in the unfortunatley cancelled Go On and also had a very memorable monologue in Louie.

After losing her job and learning that her husband has been unfaithful, a woman (Melissa McCarthy) hits the road with her profane, hard-drinking grandmother (Susan Sarandon).”

Starring Melissa McCarthy, Susan Sarandon, Dan Aykroyd, Allison Janney, Kathy Bates, Toni Collette and directed by Ben Falcone.

TAMMY is released in UK cinemas on July 4th 2014

Edinburgh Fringe 2011

Since its inception in 1947, as an alternative (on the fringe of) to the Edinburgh International Festival, the Fringe  has grown to such gargantuan proportions that it is reportedly the largest arts festival in the world.

No longer attracting just the alternative arts performers and the up and coming British comedic talent, the Fringe now attracts the cream of the worlds stand-up talent.  Each year the top 10 jokes and gags are published and, rather than just give you the list, we’ve also given linked to the websites for each of the performers so you can check out the ones you like the most.

Thor: How It Should Have Ended

The God of Thunder made quite an impact on the International Box Office and we all liked it on Upodcast (We might have raved a bit more about Fast 5) and listen to Episode  25 with FilmiGirl and Danny Bowes.

The Guys from “How it should Have Ended” (a hilarious Youtube channel I can strongly recommend subscribing to) have given their take on this Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman Marvel superhero movie. And listening to some of our comments about Portman during our podcast, I’m not sure we would have done anything different.

Check out the video here and watch out for some cameo’s and a running joke at the end of the clip in the diner.

College Humor!!

So, I have been a huge fan of college humor for a bit of time now, ever since I saw my first Youtube clip which is acted by one of my favorite comedians Donald Glover and of course you can catch him on the best comedy show for the past two years Community!

In any case this clip caught my attention well it’s more like it spoke for the simple reason that it shares my hate for Facebook! Anything or anyone who hates that platform is automatically my very good friend! 🙂

Check out the clip and leave some comments!

Modern Family – In The Moonlight (Do me)

As a huge Modern Family fan, which is by the way a show that just fell in my lap I had no clue what I was getting in here, however Modern Family got me hooked immediately with its sharp material and fast paced nonstop dark comedy before I know it I was through the first season, so  I thought it would only be right to share this clip with everyone, I have no clue how I came across this one, but in any case it’s the character Dylan when he sang a song for Haley in front of the whole family, and the title of the song was “In the Moonlight (Do me)”. To anyone who still didn’t get a chance to check it out, please do. It’s worth the experience also it’s full of “I know how he/she felt” moment!

And to those of you who want to get curious about this show, here is a little fix…

A History of Adam Sandler movies: Make me angry!

With the release of Grown ups, starring Adam Sandler and many other comedic co-stars (Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, Kevin James). Unfortunately the reviews are pretty terrible and the do dall into the trappings we predicted when reviezing the trailer. But as  I said then I’ll probably end up watching this on a rainy day.

Here is a chart showing the relationship between Adam Sandler playing angry characters and Box Office success of his movies. Check out the full image after the jump! Read More
