Bad Grandpa Review Upodcast

  • by

Bad Grandpa is the latest release in the long line of Jackass related features, either TV or movie screen based.  Starring Johnny Knoxville as the aforementioned ill-behaved grandfather. Jeff Tramaine directing and Spike Jonze and  others behind the scenes, return to breathe life into a previously thought dead corpse.

Asim and Martin take a trip across country (London’s massive we’ll have you know) to check out a truly 21st century grandfather-grandson relationship.    Our initial fears about a series of random skits (a la Jackass) being stitched together prove to be unfounded and we’re given quite a thoughtful movie with some genuinely funny and occasionally moving moments.

In other news, Martin talks about how far behind in Breaking Bad he is (no chance of spoilers here folks) and that he is miraculously fully up to date with The Blacklist.  Asim talks about Pacific Rim and how sometimes waiting for the conversation to be over can elevate watching a movie.
