Danny Perasa and his wife, Annie, recount their twenty-seven-year romance. As they remember their life together from their first date to Danny’s final days with terminal cancer, these remarkable Brooklynites personify the eloquence, grace, and poetry that can be found in the voices of everyday people when we take the time to listen. Check out this heartwarming animated video after the Jump!
Sometimes we get mushy at Upodcast, especially me being the only married guy from the gang. I am very fortunate to have married an amazing woman that manages to light up my life everyday. So when I hear stories like Danny and Annie’s or the beginning of Pixar‘s up where we see Carl and Ellie’s entire relationship, it does tugs at my heartstrings.
Always glad to see that in this cynical world, sometimes Love makes it to the end…even if it does break your heart along the way as this video will.
and Thank You to Danny And Annie for giving us this beautiful story…I need a kleenex…
