Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes Poster

The first trailer for the sequel to the prequel releases next week but we received this beautifully creepy looking posters. A lot of the people that made the 2011 Rise of the Planet of the Apes a critical and box office succes unfortunately aren’t returning. Ruper Wyatt hands over the directorial reigns to Matt Reeves (Let Me In, Cloverfield) and pretty much all of the cast has been replaced too.

The movie stars Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smith-McPhee, Enrique Murciano, Kirk Acevedo.

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier.  They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.

We were huge fans of the first one (Love the Franco, respect The Pinto) so quite looking forward to this July 2014 release.

Watch this space for the trailer next week!
