Louis Leterrier’s has been making visually striking and fast paced action movies but hasn’t really been able to match the success of his work with Jason Statham and the first 2 transporter movies.
Here he is back after the critically derided Clash of the Titans with a very promising trailer with an even more appealing collective of pretty amazing actors. Starring Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Caine, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman and Woody Harrelson, Now You See Me seems to be a heist movie with magicians. I mean just if you weren’t already sold after reading that cast list, the word magicians and heist movies must have!
The Trailer looks great, although it has moments where it made me think of Inception, Ocean’s Twelve, the 2nd Season of Sherlock (Jesse Eisenber surrounded by CG looks a bit like Cumberbatch in his mind cave) and of course Prestige ( they one upped it by having the voice over done by Morgan Freeman)
This movie wasn’t on my radar before but definitely is now!
