The Empire Strikes Back as a Silent Movie
I know you’re supposed to hate George Lucas for raping our collective childhood by making the Ewoks blink and other such nonsense but unfortunately I can’t do that. I still love the Star Wars trilogy and maybe don’t even hate the prequels as much as everyone else did. You are very much welcome revoke my geek membership.
Since it’s a slow news day I thought I would post this clip of one of the most epic scenes in film history, as a silent movie.
It still works amazingly well and doesn’t it want to revisit the trilogy?
You can see a lot of George Lucas’ influences a lot clearer when watching it in black and white.
