Okay, Honey is cute and funny and her analysis of the film was v. interesting. But Mr Obnoxious ‘I’m a man’s man like Salman’ totes wrecked this with his douchebaggery and pseudo-swagger.

He was amusing in an unintentionallly hilarious kinda way till he starts banging on about how Kareena looks like Imran’s older sister. She is 3 years older than him. Like, Three! That is all. I bet he doesn’t have a problem when his hero Salman romances women who are 20+ years younger than him, does he? Thought not. But I guess insane double standards are part of being a ‘man’s man’. /eye roll

And if he is such a dude why in god’s name did he go watch what was crystal clearly pitched as a sweet little V day rom-com? What kind of a genius expects Dabanngg kinda macho from a film called ‘Ek Main Aur Ek Tu’ starring puppy eyed Immi?

A candyfloss Dharma rom-com is obv not gonna be relatable to the ‘man’s man’ in you. If you have a problem with the basic tenets of the genre then do the right thing and don’t review it. And when you say it was bad because ‘it was everything I thought it was going to be’ that is the worst frame of mind to go into a movie with. It’s unfair to review it when you’re obvs biased against it from the start.

You had a problem with Wake Up Sid and Break Ke Baad and you don’t like young men making semi-autobiographical movies? Cool! but do the rest of us a favour and stop reviewing them. It’s like all the smart-ass critics who hate masala but insist on watching every single masala movie ever made and then telling us why it was too pedestrian for them.

One final thing? You aren’t all of that much of a stud if you have to keep verbally asserting your manliness by proclaiming that you’re not a man-child but a man.For real, who says things like ‘Im not a man-child I’m a Dabanngg guy’ unironically?
