Ep 25 Fast Five, Thor and Game Of Thrones

  • by

Re-Post: The regular team takes a hit as Belgian internet goes on strike, but we combine with Filmigirl and Moviesbybowes to bring you a Voltron of an episode.

Not content with just one blockbuster, we first delve deep into the world of Fast Five and director Justin Lin.  Is this Vin Diesel’s finest hour?  Can Paul Walker’s eyes get any bluer?  Arguably yes and no to both of those questions, but you’ll have to listen to find out what we really think.  Spoiler alert, we do think it’s really really good!

Next up, we return to familiar super-hero territory and dish the dirt on Thor.  Now, if you’d asked us a couple of years ago, what the K-Bran would be doing whilst “resting” between series of Wallander, the chances are, we wouldn’t have said “oh sure, we know, he’ll be directing the next installment in the Marvel Comics franchise”.  ’Cos of course, that’s as likely as Michel Gondry directing Green Hor…oh, right.  Nathalie Portman and Chris Hemsworth star, but has the director gone all Shakespearean on us and diluted what should be a winning formula?

Last but by no means least, is Game of Thrones.  HBO’s latest fare recalls dungeons and dragons, high fantasy and a rugged as ever Sean Bean.  There’s a hint of Lord of the Rings too, but don’t be fooled by this mention and let Upodcasting guide you through the 7 Kingdoms and set you on the right path

We all Love this little video Sung Kang star of Fast Five made;

  1. Birthday needs can be in the kind of a single line, an set up quotation, or a completely developed poem or essay. The way in which the birthday would like is sent will depend on the partnership to the receiver.
