Oh My God
This was the movie that had a marketing campaign designed to personally put us off from watching it. Cheap green screen remix songs, a religious story line, Akshay Kumar (an actor I really like but he just seems to make movies I hate and this year was no different)
So even after the rave reviews and the presence of Paresh Rawal, we kept delaying seeing it, we actually contemplated watching Dangerous Ishqq first…
And although we still don’t agree with many many many of the religious points made about the movie, if you can just shut down your cynical mind and imagine it as the play it was initially based on, then you can still find enough to appreciate in Oh My God.
Probably a good watch with the family especially they are Paresh Rawal fan.
